Data You Provide
Search boxes on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that powers the sponsored results. We do not keep copies of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Our hosting systems collect ordinary server-log data, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We use aggregated data to keep the site working, troubleshoot errors, and understand which pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Data
We use the data described here to operate the site, maintain security, respond to messages, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell a visitor list. We do not build individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Cerritos People Search links to city, county, court, state, library, and third-party search resources. Those outside websites follow their own privacy policies. Data entered on a Los Angeles County portal, a court tool, an elections lookup, or a sponsored search tool is governed by that provider's rules, not this policy.
Who May Receive Data
Service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support the site may process server logs and related technical data for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Data Protection
The site uses an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes listed here. Because Cerritos People Search does not offer user accounts, there is no account password or personal profile stored here.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can remove it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. California privacy law includes the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act framework, and California data-broker rules are separate from government-record custody. Because we hold very little, most requests are limited to checking our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Cerritos, Los Angeles County, California agencies, or courts are outside our control; removal or correction requests for those records must go to the custodian.
Policy Updates
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new policy.
